Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

Kaira Labs ("we," "us," or "our") operates the US Citizenship Test 2026 (internal brand "CitizenPrep") mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We believe in privacy by design. Our Service is built to minimize data collection and keep your study progress strictly on your personal device.

1. Information Collection and Use

We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your personal data.

You are not required to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use our Service.

Local Storage

All of your app data—including your study progress, wrong answers, test history, daily streaks, and Study Pass balance—is saved locally on your device. We do not have access to this data, nor is it synced to any external server or cloud database managed by us. If you delete the app or clear your device's data, this local information will be permanently erased.

2. Third-Party Services

While we do not collect personal data directly, our Service uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, primarily for the purpose of serving advertisements.

Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads)

We use Google AdMob to display banner, native, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or iOS Advertising Identifier), and other tracking technologies to serve ads based on your interests and usage patterns.

For more information on how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps, please visit Google's Privacy & Terms.

3. Log Data

Since we do not operate a backend server or use crash reporting tools like Firebase Crashlytics, we do not collect any server log data or crash logs containing your personal IP address or device information.

4. Security

The security of your data is important to us. Because your study progress is stored locally on your device, it is protected by the native security features provided by iOS and Android. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and you are responsible for maintaining the physical security of your device.

5. Links to Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us (e.g., official USCIS resources or documentation). If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Given our lack of tracking and data collection, no personal data from children is stored by us. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

8. Contact Us

If you have any questions or suggestions about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.
